Chad Wilt hails from Pennsylvania and began his coaching career following his time as a player at NAIA Taylor University. After two seasons as a graduate assistant under Al Groh and Al Golden at Virginia from 2004 to 2005, Wilt made a significant move to Liberty, where he worked from 2006 to 2008.
